How Much do People Know About Venezuela?
After having to convince a person that Venezuela exists and that it is crying for help, I knew I had to do something about it. Living outside of Venezuela has showed me how little people know about my country. Since it doesn't receive much attention from the public and the media, people may not know where it is located and what issues Venezuelans is facing. In the Fall of 2016, I decided to interview fellow students from my high school that where from different places such as, Germany, Korea, Ghana, Mexico, and the U.S. to show how little people know about my country and also educate the viewer in the process.

"Masks" Hidden in Plain Sight
A short film by Lionel Miele-Herndon, Julia Bender, Natalie Komissarova, and Victoria Garcia.
With this video, we wanted to demonstrate and represent how society tends to hide a trait that they are ashamed, uncomfortable. or scared to expose. The mission of this video was to persuade the viewer to be comfortable with his/her complete self. The masks represent the medium that they hide with, for example, social media.
In this creative project, I was able to help write, edit, and film.
